Our Story
Glenda White founded New Beginnings after serving 21 years in the U.S. Army and building a successful civilian career with the U.S. Postal Service. Her dream was to create a family-led organization rooted in service, care, and community. New Beginnings and Mediplex has grown from a three-person team into a network of over 250 professionals delivering hospice, home care, adult daycare, and other vital services across the St. Louis region.

Why It Matters.
The healthcare field urgently needs compassionate, community-rooted professionals. We’re answering that call by expanding access to opportunity and training the next generation of healthcare leaders. With support from state agencies, funders, and provider partners, our model works—for participants, employers, and communities.

Hands-on CNA and CMT certification programs delivered in partnership with accredited institutions.
MENTORSHIP
PEER-TO-PEER MENTORSHIP
Program alumni and professionals become trained mentors to support incoming participants and foster leadership.
SUPPORT
JOB PLACEMENT & RETENTION SUPPORT
We place graduates across a wide network of providers and follow them for two years through coaching, mentorship, and feedback loops with employers.
